Danske Bank Commits $330 Million in Funding for Nordic Startups
Danske Bank A/S is committing 3 billion kronor ($326 million) to Nordic startups, adding specialist hires and expanding its hybrid financing capabilities as it bets on fast-growing companies in the region with international ambitions.
The new allocation pool, a higher risk mandate and an expanded specialist team will position Danske Bank to become a key partner for startups, the Copenhagen-based lender said in a statement Tuesday. Demand for hybrid financing — which blends debt and equity features — is rising as founders seek more flexible funding options, the bank said.
