LS Power to Seek $2.1 Billion in NRG Energy Share Sale

LS Power is seeking to raise as much as $2.1 billion from the sale of a stake in NRG Energy Inc., according to people familiar with the matter, after the stock market shrugged off the potential impact of the conflict in Iran.

The 12.3 million shares are being offered for $163.50 to $168 each, the people said. The range represents a discount of as much as 6.9% to NRG Energy’s closing price Monday of $175.58.
