Trump Media Weighs Spin-Off for Social Platform Truth Social

President Donald Trump’s social media company pressed into nuclear energy, finance and cryptocurrencies. Now, its flagship Truth Social platform may break away.

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. is considering spinning off Truth Social into a separate company, according to a statement Friday. The move would be a new twist in the already unusual trajectory of Trump Media, which ventured far beyond its original remit last year, when it capped a string of forays into new businesses with a $6 billion merger with a nuclear fusion company.
