Hungary, Slovakia Demand Ukraine Let In Pipeline Inspection Team
Hungary and Slovakia are seeking to send a team of inspectors to Ukraine to examine the condition of the Druzhba oil pipeline, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said after a phone call with his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico.
Hungary and Slovakia haven’t received Russian oil via the pipeline since a late January Russian attack. Hungary and Slovakia allege that Ukraine isn’t letting through Russian oil due to a political decision, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has maintained that the infrastructure was damaged and repairs need time.
