Finland Exits Recession on Higher Investment, Spending

Finland’s ailing economy emerged from a recession at the end of 2025 as rising investment and household consumption drove the fastest expansion in more than a year.

Gross domestic product grew 0.4% in the fourth quarter from the previous three-month period — the most since the third quarter of 2024 — following two straight quarters of contraction, Statistics Finland said on Friday.
