KKR Sells Stake in $3.1 Billion Post-Trade Firm OSTTRA to Banks
KKR & Co. sold a minority stake in its post-trade services provider OSTTRA to six banks, in the latest such deal for a financial-market infrastructure firm.
The group comprised Bank of America Corp., Barclays Plc, Citigroup Inc., HSBC Holdings Plc, UBS Group AG and Wells Fargo & Co. The banks made a combined $100 million “strategic equity investment,” according to a statement Thursday from OSTTRA, which said the firms are “extensive users of its services.”
