Hedge Fund Hudson Bay’s Husband-Wife Trading Duo in Dubai Exit for Dymon

Two of Hudson Bay Capital Management’s Dubai-based executives are leaving for Dymon Asia Capital, according to people familiar with the matter, twin moves that indicate the deepening demand for experienced traders in the burgeoning hedge fund hub.

Chiara Chabanne and her husband Antoine Chabanne are set to start at Dymon in coming months, the people said, declining to be identified as the information is private. Chiara was Hudson Bay’s first portfolio manager when the firm opened its Dubai office in 2023, as well as its senior executive officer, and helped the firm expand to neighboring Abu Dhabi late last year.
