Uber Buys Parking App SpotHero to Grow Its Customer Base

Uber Technologies Inc. is buying parking reservation app SpotHero Inc., the latest move by the rideshare company to expand its customer base.

The company will integrate SpotHero’s features into the Uber app, allowing customers to find parking at more than 13,000 garages, lots and valets across more than 400 cities in the US and Canada, Uber said in a statement on Monday. The company did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
