Israel Holds Rates as Uncertainty Persists on US-Iran Strike
Israel kept interest rates unchanged, taking a cautious approach amid the possibility of a military attack by the US on Iran.
The central bank held borrowing costs at 4% on Monday, pausing after two consecutive cuts. A thin majority of nine out of 16 economists surveyed by Bloomberg had expected the Bank of Israel to trim its base rate while seven others projected a hold.
