The premier has repeatedly locked horns with Zoran Milanovic since his election as head of state in 2020 on issues such as providing aid to Ukraine or support for NATO expansion. But the spat between Plenkovic and his main political foe came to the fore on Monday as Defense Minister Ivan Anusic visited Israel, seeking to strengthen cooperation between the defense sectors.
