Under the terms of a power purchase agreement announced Tuesday, Ormat will supply Google with up to 150 megawatts through the tech firm’s standing deal with Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s NV Energy, a Nevada utility. Ormat plans to generate the power across a slate of new geothermal projects still in development.
