A Nigerian startup building autonomous security systems to protect critical infrastructure on the continent raised an additional $22 million in a new capital round that was led by venture firm Lux Capital and the chief executive officer of Lagos-based unicorn Flutterwave.

Terrahaptix Inc. raised the amount weeks after an earlier $11.8 million round. Existing investors like Joe Lonsdale’s 8VC and Nova Global were joined by Lux Capital — which recently raised $1.5 billion in its largest fund — and Resilience17 Capital founded by Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola. The round was completed in under two weeks, the company said in a statement on Monday.
