United Airlines Holdings Inc. quietly dropped the Airbus SE A350 jetliner from its fleet plan in coming years amid a legal battle with the aircraft’s engine supplier, Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc.

The airline disclosed the dispute in its 10-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, saying the UK-based manufacturer breached a 2010 agreement concerning engine purchases.
