Singapore Boosts Modest 2030 Solar Power Installation Target

The government is now aiming for 3 gigawatts of capacity by the end of the decade, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said in his annual budget speech in Parliament on Thursday. The nation will maximize solar deployment across all viable surfaces, and progressively set more ambitious targets, he said.
