Wall Street, Big Tech Send Reverse Yankee Volumes Past 2007 High
A rush of reverse Yankee debt sales have hit the European primary market, with five borrowers set to make it the busiest start to the year ever for the deals.
US corporates and financial firms plan to raise €15.25 billion ($18 billion) outside their home market on Thursday, lifting their year-to-date bond issuance in the euro and sterling markets to a record, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
