AI Startup Nabs $100 Million to Help Firms Predict Human Behavior

Artificial intelligence startup Simile has raised $100 million in new funding to build a model designed to predict human behavior, including by helping companies anticipate questions likely to be asked on earnings calls.

The financing, announced Thursday, was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, A* and Hanabi Capital. Other notable AI figures, including Fei-Fei Li and Andrej Karpathy, also contributed to the round. Simile did not disclose a valuation.
