Zambian Central Bank Cuts Rates, Sees Inflation Easing

Zambia’s central bank lowered its key interest rate for a second straight meeting as it projected a further easing in inflation.

The monetary policy committee cut the rate to 13.5% from 14.25%, Governor Denny Kalyalya told reporters in the capital, Lusaka, on Wednesday.
