Southwest Air to Equip Its Fleet With Musk’s Starlink Wi-Fi

Southwest Airlines Co. plans to rapidly equip its aircraft with in-flight Wi-Fi from Elon Musk’s Starlink, joining larger rivals.

The carrier plans to have SpaceX’s satellite internet service available on more than 300 of its jets by the end of this year, the airline said in a statement on Wednesday. Southwest’s first plane with Starlink will begin flying this summer, it said.
