Nevada Super Bowl Wagers Tumble Nearly 12% to $134 Million

Total wagers placed in Nevada on the Feb. 8 Super Bowl fell 11.7% to $133.8 million from the prior year, according to data released Monday by the state’s Gaming Control Board.
The results were the lowest in at least ten years. The amount won by Nevada’s 186 sports books was $9.9 million, less than half of last year’s result.
