Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Rises as McDonald’s Veteran Named CEO

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd. shares rose after the company named McDonald’s Corp. veteran Andrew Gregory as its new global chief executive officer, charging him with turning around the chain’s flagging fortunes.

The stock jumped as much as 5.8% in early Sydney trading Wednesday after the appointment was announced. The shares were up 2.9% at A$23 at 10:33 a.m., valuing Domino’s at A$2.2 billion ($1.6 billion).
