Citadel Securities Hires Smerin as Structured Products Head

Ken Griffin’s Citadel Securities hired Morgan Stanley’s Richard Smerin as global head of structured products, the latest in a string of key Asia-based recruits, said a person with knowledge of the matter.

Smerin will start in the newly created role in Hong Kong, according to the person, who asked not to be named because the matter is private.
