Robot and AI Training Are Opportunities for Korea, LG CNS Says
Global manufacturers looking to add a humanoid robot to their factory floor will likely discover they need to be trained and managed much like human employees. South Korea’s IT solutions firm LG CNS Co. wants to position itself as their HR department.
The Seoul-based company, which went public last year in one of South Korea’s largest-ever listings, doesn’t build robots or develop AI models. Instead, it helps companies select, train and manage fleets of so-called physical AI — ranging from humanoids to more conventional industrial robots — as manufacturers automate to cope with labor shortages and increasingly complex production.
