Key iron ore export hub of Port Hedland reopens after tropical storm Mitchell

The world’s biggest iron ore export ports have reopened after the passing of a major tropical storm.

Port Hedland in northwest Australia resumed operations on Sunday as Tropical Cyclone Mitchell headed south, while the Ports of Dampier, Ashburton, Cape Preston West and Varanus Island resumed activities on Monday, operator Pilbara Ports said on its website.
