Slotkin Seeks Spy Agencies’ Vows They Aren’t Targeting Americans

Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin is seeking reassurances from the Trump administration’s spy chiefs that they’re not targeting American citizens for domestic political purposes.

In a letter to CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, among others, Slotkin expressed concern about a presidential directive on domestic terrorism and government working groups she says target current and former officials who the president asserts have wronged him.
