Ronald Hicks was installed as archbishop of New York on Friday, assuming leadership of one of the Roman Catholic Church’s most influential US archdioceses.

Celebrating a Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the prelate appointed by Pope Leo XIV used his homily to call for unity across cultures and generations.
