US Yield Curve Nears Widest in Four Years With Auctions in Focus
A key part of the US yield curve is near its steepest level in four years as investors look to the Treasury’s quarterly bond sale plans later Wednesday for clues on future government issuance.
The difference between two- and ten-year Treasury yields is currently around 69 basis points, closing in on a four-year high of 74 reached in April 2025. It’s climbed from a recent low of 61 basis points over the past week.
