Microsoft Is Replacing Security Chief Bell With Google’s Gallot

Microsoft Corp. security chief Charlie Bell is moving to a new individual contributor role focused on engineering quality and will be replaced by an executive from Google’s cloud unit.

Hayete Gallot, who has worked at Microsoft before, will become executive vice president for security. She’ll report to Chief Executive Officer Sayta Nadella.
