Colombia Presses Companies on Pricing Data After 23% Wage Hike

Colombia’s antitrust authority is pressing companies to disclose detailed information on profit margins and discount strategies, to address concern over possible price fixing in the wake of the country’s recent record minimum wage hike.

The government watchdog in charge of competition and consumer protection also wants details on how exchange-rate movements affect inventories, Caracol Radio reported, without saying how it obtained the information.
