Alternative Asset Firm Dawson to Debut Credit Secondary Strategy

Dawson Partners, an early mover in helping investors extract cash from private equity stakes, plans to start a strategy for the fast-growing credit secondaries market.

The Toronto-based alternative asset manager decided to start the strategy after participating in several secondaries transactions, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because Dawson’s plans aren’t public.
