UK House Prices Rebound at Start of 2026, Nationwide Says
UK house prices recovered at the start of 2026, according to Nationwide Building Society, largely reversing a dip in the weeks after the Labour government’s tax-raising budget.
Nationwide said the average value of properties rose 0.3% in January to an average price of £270,873 ($370,600), after a 0.4% fall the previous month. It was in line with economists’ expectations.
