Hegseth Sees ‘Plenty of Winning’ for Bezos’ Blue Origin

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth heaped praise on Jeff Bezos-backed Blue Origin in a visit to the space venture’s facility, recruiting another billionaire in his effort to reform government weapons buying and pressure traditional defense contractors.

“You’ve never done business-as-usual, and at the War Department, business-as-usual is over,” Hegseth said Monday to Bezos at the Blue Origin launch complex in Cape Canaveral, Florida, after a separate visit to NASA facilities. “Blue Origin is going to do plenty of winning.”
