Canada’s largest space technology company is doubling down on efforts to attract top engineering talent from around the world as it prepares for defense-driven growth.

Brampton, Ontario-based satellite developer MDA Space Ltd. is working with the Quebec government to address tax requirements for new international hires. The company is finishing a new facility in Montreal that will allow it to build as many as 10 satellites a week, up from one per week last year.
