Indian Electronics Manufacturing Shares Rise on Budget Boost

Shares of some Indian electronics manufacturing services companies ended higher in Sunday trading after the finance minister set aside 400 billion rupees ($4.3 billion) to boost the sector and position the country as a global hub for the sector.

Amber Enterprises Ltd. rose 4.9%, its biggest gain since Sept. 1, while Kaynes Technology India Ltd. advanced 2.4%. Dixon Technologies India Ltd., however, erased its earlier gains to close lower.
