Euronext CEO Sees Investors Diversify Away from ‘Scary’ US

Photographer: Betty Laura Zapata/BloombergInvestors are increasingly concerned about developments in the US, prompting them to allocate more of their money elsewhere, according to Euronext NV Chief Executive Officer Stephane Boujnah.
“People around the world, in particular in Asia and in the Gulf, say ‘whoa, whoa, whoa, let’s diversify away from the US risk because the US is not what it used to be’,” Boujnah said Friday on Bloomberg TV. Investors see the country as a “scary environment” because of “too much volatility on decision-making” and “too much uncertainty” around tariffs, inflation and “fairness of business relationships,” he said.
