Airbus SE has yet to settle on an aircraft delivery target for this year, less than three weeks before the European planemaker is due to unveil that figure, as engine supplies for its crucial A320 model remain tight, according to people familiar with the matter.
The company remains locked in negotiations with RTX Corp.’s Pratt & Whitney unit about how many engines it will receive in 2026 and 2027, said the people, asking not to be identified discussing confidential deliberations. The planemaker previously aimed for about 900 handovers this year, though it may have to scale that number back, one of the people said.
