Wall Street is gearing up for a borrowing bonanza to bankroll artificial intelligence projects that could push February corporate bond sales to a record, even as warnings against complacency continue to percolate across credit markets.

International Business Machines Corp. sold nearly $7.5 billion in dollarBloomberg Terminal and euroBloomberg Terminal bonds after reporting quarterly sales that topped analysts’ estimates. Meta Platforms Inc. and Microsoft Corp. also posted results, freeing them up to sell bonds.
