SpaceX In Merger Talks With xAI Ahead of IPO, Reuters Reports

Elon Musk’s SpaceX is in discussions with his artificial intelligence firm xAI about a potential merger ahead of the rocket and satellite maker’s potential blockbuster IPO, Reuters reported.

A merger of the two companies, which both count Musk as their chief executive officer, would bring his rockets, Starlink satellites, his social media platform X and the ​Grok AI chatbot together in a single entity, Reuters said, citing an unidentified person briefed on the matter.
