Grubhub is removing delivery and service fees on all restaurant orders above $50, the latest move by the newly private food-delivery app to lure customers from rivals DoorDash Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc.

The change will start rolling out to some users on Thursday ahead of a broader launch on Feb. 2, the company said. Previously, only members of Grubhub’s paid subscription program could get free delivery and lowered service fees on eligible orders.
