Germany Pledges Swift Climate Action After Loss in Top Court

Germany has vowed to dial up its green efforts after losing a landmark ruling that ditched its 2023 climate action program.

The government will present measures by the end of March and aims “to remedy all the shortcomings of the old climate-protection program,” State Secretary for the Environment Jochen Flasbarth said Thursday in Berlin.
