Eaton to Spin Off Its Two Weakest Units, Vehicle and eMobility

Eaton Corp Plc plans to spin off its Vehicle and eMobility businesses, separating its two weakest segments into an independent, publicly traded company.

The move reflects a shift toward its Electrical and Aerospace units, which have benefited from growth in AI, aerospace aftermarkets and defense demand, the company said Monday.
