Catalonia Halts Train Services as Spanish Rail Concerns Grow
Train services in Catalonia were suspended Monday, extending days of disruption after two deadly accidents earlier this month raised concerns about the safety of Spain’s rail system.
Rodalies Catalunya services, which operate in Barcelona and the surrounding region, were halted around 7:50 a.m. Monday, the regional government said in a post on X. “We recommend working from home and minimizing unnecessary travel,” the post said.
