Albanese Wants Defence Secretary Moriarty as Next US Ambassador

Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will recommend Defence Secretary Greg Moriarty as the nation’s next representative in Washington.

“I will be recommending to the governor-general that Greg Moriarty be Australia’s next ambassador to the United States,” Albanese said Sunday on ABC’s Insiders, adding he “is an outstanding Australian public servant.”
