Fincantieri CEO Says Europe Needs to ‘Spend Better’ on Defense

Fincantieri SpA Chief Executive Officer Pierroberto Folgiero says closer coordination among different European countries is critical to bolstering capacity and speeding up development at a time of mounting geopolitical risk.

“We are not inactive on the defense side in Europe but it’s not enough,” Folgiero said in an interview in Davos, where he attended the World Economic Forum, saying countries need to coordinate on production to make best use of resources.
