West London Homes Without Water After Thames Pipe Bursts
A burst water main owned by Thames Water caused major flooding, shut roads and cut supplies to homes across several affluent areas of west London.
Thames said the incident in Holland Park in the early hours of Wednesday reduced water pressure — or cut supplies completely — to 2,000 properties in the neighborhood, as well as to parts of Marylebone, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Kensington, Notting Hill and Shepherd’s Bush.
