Barclays Confirms Will Move EU Headquarters to Paris in 2027

Barclays Plc has kick-started the formal process to move its European Union headquarters from Dublin to Paris, according to a statement.

The lender is seeking the necessary legal and regulatory approvals to convert into a “Societas Europaea,” the statement published Wednesday said. The change is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, with the relocation of the headquarters from Dublin to Paris finalizing in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
