The European push to become less dependent on US technology will hurt the bloc even as President Donald Trump’s Greenland policy alienates allies, according to the head of Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson AB.
“This whole sovereignty narrative in Europe is dangerous,” Ericsson Chief Executive Officer Borje Ekholm said in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday. “I don’t think Europe has the capability to be sovereign today.”
