Deutsche Boerse Said to Near €5.3 Billion Deal for Allfunds
Deutsche Boerse AG is nearing a deal to acquire European fund distribution platform Allfunds Group Plc for about €5.3 billion ($6.2 billion) in cash and stock, according to people familiar with the matter.
The German exchange operator is finalizing an agreement with Allfunds and an announcement could come as soon as this week, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private. Deutsche Boerse in November said it has made a non-binding bid valuing Allfunds at about €8.80 per share and had entered into exclusive talks with the target’s board.
