Henkel AG is in talks with French investment firm Wendel SE on a potential acquisition of Dutch chemical maker Stahl Holdings BV.

It’s uncertain whether an agreement will be reached or whether the acquisition will take place, Henkel said in a regulatory filingBloomberg Terminal on Monday. Any deal would need clearance from the German company’s governing bodies as well as regulatory approval. Wendel also confirmed separately it’s in non-exclusive talks with Henkel.
