Automaker Renault Will Help France Develop Its Drone Industry

French car manufacturer Renault SA is advancing plans to help the country’s defense efforts at a time of mounting geopolitical tensions as Europe seeks a response to US threats over Greenland.

“Approached by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, Renault Group was invited to contribute its expertise to the development of a French drone industry,” the company said late Monday in an emailed statement.
