Solar Giant Longi Drops After Flagging Another Yearly Loss

Longi Green Energy Technology Co. shares tumbled on Monday after the Chinese solar giant warned it may report another loss in 2025, following a prolonged downturn that’s continued to weigh on the sector.

The company’s shares dropped as much as 5% in Shanghai, the biggest intraday decline in eight weeks, before clawing back some losses. Longi released preliminary results on Sunday indicating that the full-year net loss would be about 6 billion yuan ($861 million) to 6.5 billion yuan.
